House of Osorio

The House of Osorio is a Spanish noble lineage of the Crown of Castile, native to the Kingdom of Galicia. The oldest member was allegedly Don Osorio (fl. 8th century).

In this lineage belonged the counts of Lemos and the counts of Trastámara, and the Marquis of Astorga. The Osorio shield is gold with two wolves.[1]
