12261/12262 Mumbai CST-Howrah AC Duronto Express is the fastest Train of Mumbai-Howrah Route via Nagpur. It is a Rajdhani type train, in which meals are provided as the cost for the same being included in the ticket cost. Jnaneshwari Express was the only Full AC Train that used to run in the past, but now the Mumbai-Howrah route's full AC train tag goes to this Duronto Express. Being non-stop version of Rajdhani train, it takes least number of intermediate halts for technical purposes like crew change, loco change and also other reasons such as food pick-up, water-filling, etc. Hence, There are no commercial halts i.e. booking can be done only for Mumbai to Howrah or Howrah to Mumbai. It shares rakes with Pune Howrah Duronto Express, which has same timetable or run between Manmad Junction and Howrah Junction.
