Hsu Yao-chang (Chinese: 徐耀昌; pinyin: Xú Yàochāng) is a politician in the Republic of China. He has been the Magistrate of Miaoli County since 25 December 2014.[1]

Early life

Hsu completed his master's degree in industrial and commercial management from Chung Hua University.[2]

2014 Miaoli County magistrate election intention

Speaking at Toufen Elementary School at Toufen Township, Miaoli County on 8 January 2014 as a KMT legislator, Hsu announced his intention to run for 2014 Miaoli County magistrate election which would be held at the end of 2014. He was accompanied by his wife and other officials. Toufen Village chief Hsu Ting-chen said that Hsu would be able to expedite the development of the county due to his abundant experience and knowledge of the area.[3]

Hsu was elected as the Magistrate of Miaoli County after winning the 2014 Miaoli County magistrate election held on 29 November 2014.
