The Huey P. Newton Gun Club is an armed organization named after Black Panther Party founder Huey P. Newton. The club fights against police brutality. The group often stage armed marches in protest of things they dislike, such as police brutality.[1][2]
The Indigenous People's Liberation Party have cooperated with the group, and the both of them have delivered a report on police brutality to the authorities.[3]
In 2016, the group showed up outside a Nation of Islam-run Muhammad Mosque in Dallas to monitor protesters from the Bureau of American Islamic Relations. Both parties were armed and the police were present during the situation, in the end nobody was hurt. BAIR left South Dallas in less than ten minutes after showing up due to the community taking a defensive posture.[4]
