Hugh French Thomason
Hugh French Thomason (February 22, 1826 - July 30, 1893) was a prominent Arkansas politician. He was born in Smith County, Tennessee and later moved to Arkansas, where he represented the state in the Provisional Confederate Congress from 1861 to 1862. He served in the Arkansas House of Representatives in 1866 and 1886. He served in the Arkansas State Senate in 1880 and as a state court judge from 1890 until his death.
