Humak University of Applied Sciences (Finnish: Humanistinen ammattikorkeakoulu, i.e. "Humanist"; HUMAK) is a university of applied sciences (a polytechnic) in Finland. Humak is leading educator in the humanities and pedagogy as well as cultural management in Finland.[2]

Humak operates nationally and its regional units are located in the Metropolitan Helsinki (Helsinki, Kauniainen and Nurmijärvi), Jyväskylä, Kuopio and Turku.[3] In addition Humak has campuses in Tornio and Joensuu. Along with DIAK Humak is the only Polytechnic in Finland having a national network of education and RDI-institutes.

Humak has research, development and innovation activity in the fields of youth work, civic activity, participation, preventive work, youth organization work, cultural management and sign language and interpretation.[4]
