Huntington-Surrey School is a private secular secondary school located in Austin, Texas. It was founded in 1973 and is located northwest of the University of Texas campus. The school offers a college-preparatory curriculum with a particular focus on composition and literature, with standard science, history, and math classes required as well.[1] Electives are offered on Fridays, drawing on the various interests and talents of the faculty. Some remarkable features of the student experience at Huntington-Surrey include the small class sizes, short school days, and the absence of math homework.[2] The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.[3]
