Hypomyces is a genus of parasitic Ascomycete fungi found in Europe, North America, Australia, and parts of China. The genus contains 53 species.[1] Its members include the lobster mushroom (Hypomyces lactifluorum) and the bolete eater (Hypomyces chrysospermus).
