Felimare picta is a species of colorful sea slug or dorid nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Chromodorididae.[2]

Distribution
Felimare picta lives in rocky seabeds throughout the Mediterranean Sea (Greece), European waters (Spain, Portugal), the Eastern North Atlantic Ocean (Azores) and the Gulf of Mexico.[4]
Type locality of Felimare picta is Palermo, Sicily.[1]
Description
This nudibranch grows to about 20 cm (8 inches) long and feeds on various sponges.[4]
Habitat
Minimum recorded depth is 0 m.[5] Maximum recorded depth is 55 m.[5]
