History

IQ Option was established in 2013 in Limassol, Cyprus. During the first year of operation company's base of traders increased by 30 times, and in the next year by another 4 times, so it had 15,000 accounts in 2013, 950,000 accounts in 2014 and 3,450,000 accounts in 2015. From 2013 to 2014 the number of transactions made per day increased by almost 70 times, and from 2014 to 2015 by more than 5 times. By December 2015, the trading platform has over 1,000,000 trades per day.

Sponsorship

In June 2015, IQ Option announced the start of its cooperation with the racing team AGI Racing, as the main sponsor of the Australian F4 Championship AGI Racing Team.
In February 2016, online binary options broker IQ Option, has announced a sponsorship deal with Aston Martin Racing, according to the car manufacturer’s website.[5] Aston Martin Racing, a major team participating in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), becomes the newest official partner of IQ Option. The partnership agreement covers all of 2016 and can be extended indefinitely.
