The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) was established in 1991 as a not-for-profit organization to foster the use of advanced technologies in surface transportation systems. It is the leading advocate for the development and deployment of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in the United States.

ITS America's members include private corporations, public agencies, academic institutions and research centers involved in the research, development and design of Intelligent Transportation Systems technologies that enhance safety, increase mobility and sustain the environment.

ITS America is one of the main organizers of ITS World Congress. 2011 World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems held from October 16–20 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
