"I Can't Escape from You" is a song written by Leo Robin and Richard A. Whiting for the 1936 Paramount Film "Rhythm on the Range", and first introduced in the film and recorded by Bing Crosby for Decca Records that same year with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra.[1] The Crosby version was in the hit parade for 11 weeks reaching a peak position of No. 7.[2]

The song has also been recorded by Artie Shaw, Benny Carter, Billy Taylor, Billy Ward, Bunk Johnson, Bunny Berigan, Erskine Hawkins, J. Russel Robinson, Jimmie Lunceford, Carmen McRae, Johnnie Ray, Mel Tormé and The Dominoes. [3]

Hank Williams wrote a song under that title that was recorded by Ray Price and Jack Scott. Williams' original publishing demo was overdubbed and released posthumously in 1953.
