I Did It For Love is a song written by Kristian Wejshag and Lars "Dille" Diedricson, and performed by Jessica Andersson in the first semifinal of Melodifestivalen 2010. The song made it to Andra chansen, where it knocked out the Alcazar song Headlines and the Kalle Moreaus and Orsa spelmän song Underbart. The song was also released as a single the same year.[1]
The song entered Svensktoppen on 9 May 2010.[2] and was also appointed the "2010 Svensktoppen song of the year".[3] On 20 March 2011, the song became the first Melodifestivalen song to top the Svensktoppen chart the year after the contest.[4]
The song totally charted for 98 weeks, finishing the Svensktoppen visit on 18 March 2012.[5] before leaving chart.[6]
