Iain MacDonald (businessman)

Iain MacDonald is an Irish entrepreneur.[1] He founded Perlico in 2003, an Irish consumer telecommunications company, and later sold it to Vodafone Ireland in a 2007 deal reportedly worth €80 million contingent on subsequent earnings.[2][3] In its final year of independent operations, Perlico reported a loss of €7 million on revenues of €40 million.[4]

In 2009, MacDonald founded "Weeedle", later renamed SkillPages, a skills-based social network.[5]
