Ian Dickens
Ian Dickens (born 1962 in Nottingham) is a former actor and is now a theatrical producer and director, the founder of Ian Dickens Productions.
In its peak had about seven companies touring the United Kingdom at any one time, with an annual turn over of £3,000,000.[1] Popular performers to have appeared in Ian Dickens Productions include Leslie Grantham, Hannah Waterman, David Janson, Sabina Franklyn, David Callister, Frazer Hines, Deborah Watling, Dilys Watling, Jonathon Morris, Carmen Silvera, David Griffin, Ruth Madoc, Fenella Fielding and others.
In recent years Dickens has been directing a number of plays under the name ID Plays Limited touring three or four shows a year.[2]
In 2009 Ian Dickens Productions took over the running of the Theatre Royal, Lincoln which then became the base for their touring productions.[3] Dickens is still currently the theatre's Artistic Director and CEO.[4]
