Ian Michael Nelson (born April 10, 1995) is an American actor who portrayed the District 3 male tribute in the 2012 film adaptation of The Hunger Games, and young Derek Hale in the television series Teen Wolf.
Personal life
Nelson is the son of Mark and Janie Nelson and is one of four children. He is also a trained singer, dancer, and actor, and has been featured in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City for the past three years.
Education
In 2011 and 2012 (10th and 11th grades), Nelson attended school at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville, North Carolina.
