Ian Orum (birth registered July→September 1955 (age 60–61)[1]) birth registered in Buckrose, is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s and '80s, playing at club level for Castleford, as a fullback, wing, stand-off/five-eighth, or scrum-half/halfback, i.e. number 1, 2 or 5, 6, or 7.[2][3]

Ian Orum played as an Interchange/Substitute, i.e. number 14, (replacing centre Gary Hyde) in Castleford's 2-13 defeat by Hull in the 1983 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1983–84 season at Elland Road, Leeds, on Saturday 15 October 1983.
