International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing

ICASSP, the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, is an annual flagship conference organized of IEEE Signal Processing Society and around 1300 papers are usually included in its proceedings according to IEEE Digital Library. All papers included in its proceedings have been indexed by Ei Compendex.

It is considered a high level conference in signal processing and, for example, obtained an 'A1' rating from the Brazilian ministry of education based on its H-index.[1][2]

Like many IEEE conferences, ICASSP has tutorial talks, technical sessions, and poster sessions. The conference is usually spread over four to five days. Leading experts in the focus areas would give tutorial talks on the first day. Then the technical sessions (and poster sessions in parallel) would follow.

ICASSP2013 was held in May, 2013 in Vancouver, Canada.[3] ICASSP 2011 was held in May 2011 in Prague, Czech Republic.[4] ICASSP 2012 was held in March 2012 in Kyoto, Japan.[5]
