History

The firm was founded in 1910 in Indianapolis, Indiana under the name of Henley Matson and Gates. In 1929, Harry Ice joined the firm. Following a series of name changes, in the 1950s, the firm operated as Ross McCord Ice and Miller. The firm changed its name to Ice Miller Donadio and Ryan in 1963. In 2000, the firm changed its name to Ice Miller.[4] Ice Miller represents private and public companies, government entities, and individuals, and serves as legal counsel to businesses in the Midwest, to state and local governments, and to companies worldwide.[5] Ice Miller's clients include: Angie's List, Big Lots, Indiana University, Citizens Energy Group, Community Health Network, Cook Group Incorporated, Eli Lilly and Company, Fifth Third Bancorp, Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, Honey Baked Ham, Huntington Bank, Illinois Finance Authority, Illinois State University, Indiana Finance Authority, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Nationwide Insurance, Republic Airways, Vera Bradley and Vistex, Inc.[6]
