The IchijÅ family (一æ¡å®¶ IchijÅ-ke) was a Japanese aristocratic kin group.[1] The IchijÅ was a branch of the Fujiwara clan.[2]
History
The family was founded by KujÅ Michiie's son IchijÅ Sanetsune.[1]
The IchijÅ was one of five Fujiwara families from which the SesshÅ and Kampaku were chosen.[1]
The Daigo family (é†é†å®¶ Daigo ke) was a branch of the IchijÅ family, founded in the early Edo period by IchijÅ Akiyoshi's son IchijÅ Fuyumoto.
