Icreon Tech is the American Division of Icreon, a global software consulting and digital strategy firm.[1] It is headquartered in New York City. According to Himanshu Sareen, its founder, it specializes in working with growth-oriented medium-sized businesses, which range across various verticals including logistics, nonprofit, hospitality, eCommerce, healthcare and education.[2]
History
Founded in the year 2000, Icreon Tech has been led by CEO Himanshu Sareen. Icreon Tech specializes in web development, mobile app development, and integrated product development.[3]
Projects
New York Road Runners (NYRR)
According to a joint press release, on June 2013, Icreon Tech partnered with the New York Road Runners (NYRR) to redesign their website.[4] The project also included MyNYRR, an online community hub for members, runners, volunteers, and donors.[5] Icreon Tech won New Media Institute's Best in Industry 2011 Website award for their work.[6]
SnagFilms
In 2011, Icreon Tech partnered with SnagFilms, an online independent film distributor, to develop an iPad application for streaming their film library.[7] On August 22, 2011, the Huffington Post named the SnagFilms app as one of “The 11 Best Free iPad Video Apps”.[8]
The Advisory Board Company
Pairing with The Advisory Board Company, Icreon Tech worked to develop Crimson—a piece of Physician Management Software which evaluates physicians on key quality and utilization measures, order set and guidance adherence, as well as patient satisfaction. The product has more than 130,000 users.
National Geographic
Beginning in 2002, Icreon and the National Geographic Channel began working together to develop National Geographic’s digital approach. Their technological collaboration has resulted in a variety of web, mobile, and social-based digital content.
PepsiCo
In partnering with PepsiCo India, Icreon developed an interactive e-learning tool to train PepsiCo employees in various SAP modules.
UX Specialized Logistics
Working with UX Specialized Logistics, Icreon revamped UXL’s existing ERP system by developing a series of new modules. Their continued relationship has revolved around platform management and technological consulting.
Net Texts
In 2012, the firm partnered with Net Texts, Inc. to develop the Net Texts app for iPad. The Net Texts app was built for students and teachers to access free educational resources in a centralized location.
Playbill
In September 2012, the Playbill Memory Bank went live. Icreon Tech and Playbill collaborated to develop a niche social network for theater-goers.[9]
Ratings and Awards
In 2012, Icreon received a Communicator Award of Excellence following their collaboration with Laura Bohinc, which was named the Best Website in the Fashion category. That same year, they won an award of distinction for their work with Net-Texts, which was named the Best Mobile App in the Education category.
