Idiosepius minimus is a species of bobtail squid native to the "coast of Africa"[1] where it occurs in shallow, inshore waters.[2]
I. minimus grows to 15 mm in mantle length.[2]
The type locality of I. minimus is not designated. The type specimen was originally deposited at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris, but is no longer extant.[3]
The validity of I. minimus has been questioned.[3]
