Iduvai is a village near Tirupur in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Iduvai is about 48 kilometres (30 mi) from Coimbatore, 9 km (6 mi) from Tirupur and 12 km (7 mi) from Palladam. It is located on Tirupur - Palladam State Highway 19.

Employment

The main occupation is weaving and farming. The majority of the people earn a living by going to Tirupur to work. The main occupation weaving is on the decline in the village. As of November 2012, there are only a handful of weavers weaving in traditional way. The growth of power looms have still kept the weaving tradition alive in the village.nowadays few garment factories and sizing mills are started
