Igaya Station
Igaya Station (伊賀屋駅 Igaya-eki) is a railway station in Hyōgo Town, Saga City, Saga Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu and is on the Nagasaki Main Line.
Station Layout
The station is located above ground and has two side platforms servicing two tracks and an overbridge connecting them. It has neither a MARS terminal nor a POS computer system, though it does have a ticket machine.
History
- December 1, 1928 - Station opening under the Railway Ministry
- June 6, 1976 - The track from Tosu to Hizen-Koga to Nagasaki is electrified
- April 1, 1987 - Railways privatize and JR Kyushu inherits the station
