First club of Croat coach was HAOK Mladost where he started to work in youth categories sport program. In 1992. he was coach of OK Karlovac. He continued coaching in HAOK Mladost and OK Varazdin until 2002. From 1997 - 2002. he was member of Croatian national team as assistant coach and 2002. as head coach. He coached MSC Moers and Rote Raben Vilsbiburg in Germany between 2003 and 2007, before moving to Qatar. From 2007 to 2010. and 2012 to 2014. he was head coach of Qatar national team. Also between 2010. to 2016. he was coach of Al Rayyan SC. (2009/2010/, 2010/2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015/2016)
