Igor Prahić (born 15 April 1987) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a central defender.

Career

In December 2008 he was invited on a trial at Celtic, with media speculations saying he might sign for the Scottish side suring the 2008-09 winter transfer window.

Prahić rose through all youth levels playing for Varteks before debuting in top-flight football in 2006. He also has 40 caps for Croatia's youth teams.[1] On 16 December 2010 CS Sedan signed Croatian centre-back from Varteks until June 2012.[2]

On 2 September 2013 Prahić agreed a deal to play for the Romanian team Vaslui for three years, being signed as a replacement for Fernando Varela, who is expected to sign with Steaua.[3]

On 28 July 2014, Prahić signed with newly promoted Iran Pro League side Padideh.
