Ikryaninsky District (Russian: Икря́нинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the eleven in Astrakhan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,950 square kilometers (750 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Ikryanoye.[1] As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 47,759, with the population of Ikryanoye accounting for 21.0% of that number.[4]
