Syed Imad Wasim, known as Imad Wasim, (born 18 December 1988) is a cricketer who played in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup for Pakistan and has also played first-class, List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket in Pakistan.[1] He represented Islamabad Leopards team in Faysal Bank T20 Cup 2012–12 season. He's an aggressive left-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox bowler.
Due to his birth in Wales, Wasim also holds a British passport.[2] He became the first Welsh-born cricketer to represent Pakistan.[3][4] He moved to Pakistan at a very early age, and has played all first-class cricket there.[5]
He made his Twenty20 International debut for Pakistan against Zimbabwe in Lahore on 24 May 2015.[6] He made his One Day International debut for Pakistan against Sri Lanka on 19 July 2015.[7] He was selected in the Pakistan squad for the 2016 ICC World Twenty20.
