History
Founded in 1964 as a Baptist church (part of the General Association of Regular Baptists), in 1984 the church became non-denominational. It has a congregation of over 3,500,[1][2] making the church one of the largest in northern Virginia. There are a large number of activities, classes, and ministries for every age group, including a worship orchestra and full choir. The church sponsors Immanuel Christian School, grades K-8, on site, and Immanuel Christian Bookstore.
