In This Corner of the World (この世界の片隅に Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni) is an upcoming Japanese animated film produced by MAPPA, directed and written by Sunao Katabuchi.[1] It is based on Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni, Fumiyo Kōno's manga of the same name.[2][3] The film is set in the 1930s in Hiroshima, roughly 10 years before the atomic bomb.
