Popular Culture
In the 1990s French TV broadcaster TF1 used the song for the Sunday night movie show Ciné Dimanche.
The song was extensively used in the openings, promotions and broadcastings of the Viña del Mar Festival in Chile during the decades of the 1980s and 1990s. Although its use has been discontinued, the song is still associated with the annual event in the country.
Previously, in Brazil, it was the opening theme of Silvio Santos' show Porta da Esperança, aired in the 1980s by SBT.
The song can also be heard in Charles Stone III's 2002 film Drumline.
In the 1980s it was used as the opening theme of the show Hitpanorama on Austrian radio station Ö3
