The inauguration of Millard Fillmore as the 13th President of the United States took place on Wednesday, July 10, 1850, after the death of President Zachary Taylor. The inauguration marked the commencement of the partial 969-day term of Millard Fillmore as President. The swearing-in was administered by William Cranch, chief judge of the U.S. Circuit Court in the House Chamber of the United States Capitol.[1]
