History

Indian Hill was opened in fall of 1958 as a kindergarten through eighth grade school with 15 staff members and 210 students. The grade configurations of the school were changed as additional schools were built in Holmdel and the school changed from a K-8 to 5-6 to 4-5. In 1998, due to a construction project, Indian Hill's grade configuration changed again to 3-6. In 2004, due to another construction project, Indian Hill once again changed its grade configuration to 4-6.[3][4]
