Indonesia sent a delegation to compete at the 1980 Summer Paralympics in Arnhem, Netherlands. Its athletes finished twenty eighth in the overall medal count.[1]
The two gold medal winners were Yan Soebiyanto in lawn bowls and R. S. Arlen for Men's Featherweight weightlifting -57 kg amputee. Bronze medalists were lawn bowls C pair Moenali and Ismail Yamin, and D pair R. S. Arlen and Safri Tanjung.
