Indrajeet Patel is an Indian athlete - a 3000 metre, 5000 metre, 10,000 metre and half marathon runner.[1] He first came into limelight after winning the Mumbai Half Marathon held at Mumbai, India in 2014.[2] He is the Indian National Youth Champion in the 3000 metre category,[3] and the National Junior Champion in the 5000 metre category.[4] He is also the winner of the Asian Area Qualification Championship held in Singapore on 22 and 23 May 2010 in the 3000 metre category. He clocked 8:16:26 to beat Japan's Nishiike Kazuto[5]

Indarjeet Patel hails from Ellahabad He has notched up junior national records in the 5000 metre event. He qualified for the boys' 3000m final at the IAAF World youth athletics championship in Lille, France. He is a promising athlete with the scope to win a medal for India in major International events

Standard Chartered Mumbai half marathon, 2014

Indarjeet Patel came to the forefront when he won the Mumbai Half marathon in 2014. The 20-year-old from Allahabad clocked 01:04:56 to beat Soji Mathew (01: 05: 45), and Man Singh (01: 06:17).[2]
