Industrial region Thracia
Thracia Economic Zone in Plovdiv is an industrial area with targeted support from the state.
By February 2015, it has allowed the creation of more than 12,000 new jobs.[1]
Estimates are until 2025, to gain investments for over 1.1 billion € and to allow the creation of over 30,000 jobs.[1]
The economic Zone "Thracia " consists of:
- Commercial-industrial zone "Maritza" - located near the highway Trakia[2]
- Industrial and Commercial Zone Kuklen - located next to the village of Kuklen.[3]
- Rakovski Industrial Zone - located next to Stryama, municipality Rakovski.[4]
- Agricenter Kaloianovo - located next to Kaloianovo.[5]
- Tech Innovation Park Thrace - - located near the highway Trakia.
- Educational and high-tech park - in Plovdiv
The whole area covers 10.7 million square meters, of which 7.45 million square meters are available for construction.[6]
