Infernet is a 2015 Italian drama film directed by Giuseppe Ferlito, and screenplay by the director himself. It stars Roberto Farnesi, Remo Girone, Ricky Tognazzi, Elisabetta Pellini, Laura Adriani, Giorgia Marin,[1] and Andrea Montovoli.[2]

Plot

Infernet is about the addiction to the internet and the consequences of a distorted use of it.[3] It manifests in many ways, such as the addiction to social networks, games and sex.

The protagonists of the film are all connected to a distorted use of the web in different ways: Don Luciano (Remo Girone) is a priest who's persecuted by a gang of bullies that use the internet to question his morality. Giorgio (Ricky Tognazzi) is a family father (married to Martina (Daniela Poggi)) who is affected by gambling addiction.

Claudio (Roberto Farnesi) is a totally amoral actor and her fiancee, Arianna, is played by Elisabetta Pellini.

Nancy (Giorgia Marin) is a 16 years old girl, who uses the internet as a showcase to whore herself and then she blackmails her clients telling them she's under 18 and forcing them to pay a sum of money.

Giada (Laura Adriani) is a 16 years old girl, completely in love with Claudio, the actor. She's the girlfriend of Ludovico (Viorel Mitu), the boss of the gang of bullies. While Sandro (Leonardo Borgognoni) is the hacker of the gang.
