Infiniti Q30

The Infiniti Q30 is a small hatchback built and sold by manufactured by Nissan's Infiniti luxury brand from 2016. The Q30 is built on the third generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class platform to create a small, premium hatchback, and a high-riding crossover, called QX30. The Q30 is a result of the Nissan and Mercedes partnership agreement to share technology.[1]

The production version of Q30 will be a five-door hatchback built on Mercedes-Benz's third generation A-Class running Daimler-designed, 2.0-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Initial production started in late 2015 at the Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK assembly plant in Sunderland, England. In 2017, Infiniti will begin producing at a new factory in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The QX30 crossover, essentially a taller Q30, will go on sale in 2017.[2]
