Inflow is an online marketing company based in Denver, Colorado.[1][2][3] From 2010 to 2013, the Denver Business Journal named Inflow one of the fastest growing companies in the Denver area.[1][4][5] In 2015, the firm appeared on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in the United States.[6][7]

History

The firm was founded by Mike Belasco in 2006 as "Mike the Internet Guy." It was re-branded in 2008 as SeOverflow. Between 2012 and 2015 the company grew 161%.[6] The company became known as Inflow in 2014.[1][2] In 2008, the firm had an annual revenue of $300,000 which was increased to $760,000 by 2010. It moved from a 1,200-square-foot office to a 2,500-square-foot office nearby in 2010.[1] The company provided a number of advertising services including inbound marketing, PPC services, SEO strategies, and content marketing,[1][3][8][9] but as of 2015 has focused exclusively on eCommerce marketing. This was part of the companies re-branding strategy from 2014.[10]

The company frequently engages in industry and community events. CEO Mike Belasco often speaks at or attends conferences like Search Marketing Expo, Search Engine Strategies, Online Marketing Summit,[11] and SearchCon (the latter of which the company sponsors and helps organize).[12] Director of R&D Everett Sizemore has written on behalf of the company in publications that include MOZ and Search Engine Journal,[13][14] as well as being a speaker at SMX Milan.[15]

In 2013, the firm donated turkeys to the Denver Rescue Mission and 500 seed packets to Denver Public Schools.[5]

Services

Inflow provides a wide range of online marketing services and tools. These services involve inbound marketing,[9] PPC services,[3] search engine optimization strategies, content marketing,[1] e-commerce optimization,[4][16] local search,[1][9] social media strategies,[2] content audits,[17] link building, and more.[18] One notable marketing strategy was the creation of a game for a Maryland law firm. Visitors to the page were asked to rank fictional television lawyers. The game was shared across social media platforms which eventually improved the law firm's search engine rankings.[8]

Recognition and awards

Inflow was recognized by the Denver Business Journal as one of the area's fastest growing companies each year from 2010 to 2015.[1][4][5] In 2010, founder Mike Belasco was nominated for a SEMMY award, which honored "great content produced across the search and online marketing industry."[19] In 2014, Belasco was nominated for inclusion in the Denver Business Journal's "Forty under 40" list.[20] Also in 2014, the company was listed among the "National Best and Brightest in Wellness" by Corp. Magazine.[21] In 2015, Inflow ranked #2368 among the nation's fastest growing companies according to the Inc. 5000 list.[6][7] Inflow is also a "Moz Recommended" company.[22]
