Konkoly Observatory (Konkoly Obszervatórium) is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by Hungarian Academy of Sciences. It is located in Budapest, Hungary. It was founded in 1871 by Hungarian astronomer and land-owner noble Miklós Konkoly-Thege (1842–1916) as his private observatory. It publishes the Information Bulletin on Variable Stars, established by the IAU and containing peer-reviewed papers about variable star research and discoveries.
