Insect Trust Gazette
The Insect Trust Gazette was a poetry journal published between 1964 and 1968 and was edited by Leonard Belasco and William Levy (Philadelphia, 1964–1968) who published such notable writers as William S. Burroughs. Its name was a reference to a quotation from William S. Burroughs' novel Naked Lunch.[1] A rock group in the late 1960s, The Insect Trust, was named after this journal.
History and profile
The Insect Trust Gazette was first published at Temple University in Summer 1964.[1][2] William Levy was also the founder of the magazine.[1] The magazine folded in 1968.[1]
