ICFFI 2015

The 19th edition of ICFFI will take place from 14 to 20 November 2015 once again in the historic city of Hyderabad. The festival will have four Competition Sections: Competition International Live Action, Competition Asian Panorama, Competition International Animation and Competition Little Directors where international and national films compete for the prestigious Golden Elephant Trophies, accompanied by cash awards. The festival will also screen specially curated Non-Competition Sections including Children's World that will showcase the most acclaimed films from across the world.

The theme for the Festival is “Digital India”[4] – keeping in touch with the digital revolution now touching children’s lives and also staying abreast with the times. This edition had received the highest number of entries — 1,204 from 80 countries.[5] In 2013, there were 894 from 48.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley will unveil a mobile app on the festival on the inaugural day. The arts, crafts and cultural village of Shilparamam in Hyderabad is a;; set for screenings of children's movies in multiple venues in the city.[6]
