Interview Island is one of the Andaman Islands, India. It has an area of 99 km2 and is situated to the west of Austen Strait which separates North Andaman Island and Middle Andaman Island. The lighthouse on the island was affected by the tsunami generated by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake which inundated much of its area, as well as the Katchal East, Katchal West, and Indira Point lighthouses. The lighthouse was reported as "completely destroyed" at the time,[1] but it was later repaired.[2]
