Invasion of the Blood Farmers is a 1972 exploitation horror film directed by Ed Adlum and written by Adlum and Ed Kelleher.
Plot
The film centers around a group of Druids called the "Sangroids" living in Westchester County, New York who plan to resurrect their queen by draining the blood from unsuspecting civilians into her body.
Production
The film was shot on a proposed $24,000 budget over a three-week period. The subpar production values are apparent, as night and day shots are mixed up throughout, creating very poor continuity. As stated in the Trivia section of the movie's page on the Internet Movie Database, Adlum reportedly paid most of the actors for their work with six-packs of beer.
