Irina Yuryevna Bliznova (Russian: Ирина Юрьевна Близнова, born 6 October 1986) is a Russian handball player, playing on the Russian national team.[1] She won the gold medal with the Russian team in the 2005 World Women's Handball Championship in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and again in the 2007 World Women's Handball Championship in France.[2]

She competed at the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil,[3] where the Russian team placed 6th.
