In 1984, American singer Stevie Nicks wrote and sung lyrics over Knopfler's instrumental for her album Mirror, Mirror. The song was fully recorded, but when Nicks pulled the album from release at the last moment the song was thrown in a master reel in a studio. The master reel was stolen from the studio, and 30 years later surfaced on YouTube.
