Irshava (Ukrainian: Іршава, Yiddish: אורשיווא) is a city located in Zakarpattia Oblast (province) in western Ukraine. It is the administrative center of Irshava Raion (district). Population: 9,221 (2013 est.)[1].
Names
There are several alternative names used for this city: Rusyn: Иршава; Hungarian: Ilosva, German: Irschawa, Slovak: Iršava, Romanian: Iloșva, Russian: Иршава.
