Isaac Cleveland Vassell (born 9 September 1993) is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a winger for Truro City. A cousin of former England international forward Darius Vassell,[2] he progressed through Plymouth Argyle's youth system to make his Football League debut in 2011. Prior to joining Truro, he spent time on loan there[3] and at Bideford and Weymouth.

Career

Vassell made his professional debut on 6 August 2011, in the opening day draw with Shrewsbury Town at the New Meadow, coming on as an 82nd-minute substitute for Tom Hitchcock in a 1–1 draw at the New Meadow.[4] He joined Truro City on a work experience loan in March 2012 until the end of the season,[5][6] where he made six appearances for the club in the Conference South.[3] Vassell moved to Bideford on loan in August 2012 for three months.[7] He played in two cup games for Argyle in 2013–14 before joining Weymouth on loan until the end of the season in March 2014.[8]

After his release from Plymouth at the end of the 2013–14 season he returned to Truro City, and after scoring two goals in a 5–0 friendly victory at Godolphin Atlantic on 11 July 2014, he signed for City the following day.[9]
