Ischyja manlia is a species of moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found in the Indian Subregion, Burma, Thailand, China, Okinawa, Sundaland, Sulawesi, the southern Moluccas, Australia (Queensland) and Palau.[1]
Adults have brown forewings with a pale outer half. The hindwings are white with a dark brown margin. They pierce the skin of fruit to suck the juice.[2]
The larvae feed on Schima species, Ligustrum sinense, Cinnamomum camphora, Mangifera indica, Dimocarpus longan and Litchi chinensis. They are dark rich brown. The final instar has a band of paler rufous brown.
