Ishkhanasar (Armenian: Իշխանասար, also Romanized as Ishkanasar; formerly, Ghzljugh Armenian: Ղջլջուղ, also Romanized as Ghjljugh and Ghzyljugh; earlier, Kyzyldzhuk, Kyzyldzhug, Kizildzhuk, and Kizildzhug) is a village and rural community (municipality) in the Syunik Province of Armenia. The National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT) reported its population as 271 in 2010,[2] up from 147 at the 2001 census.[3]

It is home to the world's largest tissue factory.

The place is named in honor of Nikoghayos Poghos Mikaelian (nom de guerre: Ishkhan), a resistance leader during the Armenian Genocide.
